Governance

Devil Ark was the vision of the Director of Australian Reptile Park (ARP) John Weigel AM. It was developed in partnership with ARP, the Zoo Aquarium. Association (ZAA) and the Foundation for Australia’s Most Endangered Species (FAME).

A Board of Directors meets quarterly to provide financial and strategic oversight. The Management Committee meets bi-annually to set husbandry directions and the Financial Committee meets bi-annually to manage the funds.

As a charity, Devil Ark is licensed according to the guidelines from the Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing and the Australian Taxation Office. We are a transparent organisation with 100% of our donations allocated to the project.
